The Hotel Vataksi Shkoder is a hidden gem nestled right on the edge of a picturesque river with lovely views of Shkoder Castle. The location is simply unbeatable, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service, ensuring that all your needs are met. The rooms on the second floor are comfortable and offer a very suggestive view of the surroundings. Additionally, the breakfast provided is delicious and gives you a great start to the day.

The food is delicious and we enjoyed having Greek salad and potatoes in the oven for lunch and a tasty omelette for breakfast. It is a great value for what you get.

We could not pay with a card and alcohol was not served. There was a traffic jam when we arrived in town which we did not enjoy but that was no fault of the hotel's.
